Becoming a ChooseBooks Seller

Thank you very much for your interest in joining ChooseBooks.com. Following please find some basic information about selling books through us:

Processing payments: Sellers have a choice of either processing payments on their end, or have us process credit cards for them. At the present time in order for us to process credit cards for sellers, books must be listed in US$. If sellers process payments on their end, prices can be in any currency sellers prefer.

Our fee structure: Booksellers pay us only when they sell. We do not have any monthly fees, but rather charge 10% commissions of each sale. If you process credit cards on your end, then there are no other fees.

In case you want us to process credit cards for your sales, there is an additional credit card processing fee of $0.50 + 5% of the order total.

Having said this, it is important to mention that we do have a Minimum and a Maximum commissions that we charge for each order. Our minimum commissions is $0.40/order and maximum is $30.00/order. As an example, for $1.00 order, our commission is $0.40 and for $500.00 order, our commissions is $30.00.

Methods of Payments to Sellers: If sellers process payments on their end, once they receive an order through us, all payment arrangements are made directly with the buyer.

For sellers who want us to process payments, we pay on a monthly basis around the 15th of each month. At the present time our payments are in the form of a US check that we mail to sellers. However, it is important to note that we are working on direct deposit system which will allow up to deposit monthly payments directly into sellers accounts.

Pictures: Sellers can upload their image files to us in the similar manner as book files. For pictures, however, 2 conditions must be met:

• Images have to be saved in JPG format.
• Image files have to be named with the inventory record number of the book to which they belong.
