Howard Zinn 1922 - 2010
Howard Zinn was an American historian, playwright, and social activist. Professor of Political Science in Boston University from 1964 to 1988, Zinn believed that the point of view conveyed in conventional history books was often limited. He wrote recurrently about the struggle for civil rights, both as a participant and as a historian.
