Copyright 1939, this copy a wartime publication, circa 1944. Kelly green cloth, maroon lettering and cover illustration, mauve illustrated endpapers, illustrated frontis, 249 pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book is in good condition with gently rubbed corners and spine ends, faded tint to top edge, sound text block, good hinges, name penciled in at front pastedown, otherwise clean and pleasantly age-toned pages with no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is in good condition with extensive edgewear, paper loss across the top of the spine panel just above title, two quarter inch chips on either side of lower spine end, some light overall surface soil evident mostly upon white background of spine to rear panel, cover panel illustration intact..

Reprint, H Hard Cover, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall, Good.
